Katy graduated in 2021 from the University of Aberdeen where she studied her LLB in Scots and English Law. In 2022 she obtained her Diploma in Legal Practice from the same university.
During her studies Katy played a key role as Deputy Director of Representation at the Aberdeen Law Project – a student operated law clinic which provides free legal representation to the wider community. Throughout her years with the Law Project, Katy secured many impressive results in a variety of sectors, particularly in matters concerning disability discrimination. Due to her own experience, Katy is aware of the sensitivity surrounding Litigation matters and she always aims to make clients feel at ease throughout the understandably difficult and emotional process.
Outside of work Katy enjoys cooking, swimming and walking her three dogs.
