Alana is a first year trainee solicitor within the Medical Negligence department in Glasgow where she assists the team with a variety of claims in personal injury; medical and clinical negligence and historic child abuse with both pre-litigated and litigated claims.
She is a graduate from the University of Strathclyde, having obtained the Scots and English LLB (Graduate Entry) in 2022 followed by the Diploma in Legal Practice in 2023. Alana is also a graduate of Heriot Watt University, where she spent a year abroad in Canada, obtaining an MA in International Business in 2020.
Prior to joining the firm, Alana was employed as a paralegal assisting with Private Client work. During her university studies, Alana sought numerous volunteer opportunities to expand her knowledge in different legal practice areas, working with key organisations such as; the University of Strathclyde Law Clinic; the Miscarriages of Justice Scotland; and continues to volunteer as a Panel Member for the Children’s Hearings Scotland.
Out of the office, Alana enjoys spending time with family and friends and walking her dog.
