Miranda specialises in personal injury and clinical negligence litigation, as well as dealing generally with many other types of civil litigation, in the Court of Session. A number of her cases have been decided in the House of Lords (now the UK Supreme Court), and have clarified or restated the law relating to personal injury matters for legal practitioners across the UK.
Renowned for her attention to detail, Miranda is rigorous in the investigation and prosecution of her client’s claims. Over the last few years, she has increasingly dealt with catastrophic injury cases and has been successful in recovering millions of pounds of compensation for injured clients. She is presently representing 170 clients who are pursuing product liability/medical negligence claims arising from the implantation of transvaginal mesh products. Miranda strives to achieve justice for each and every one of her clients, whilst helping them to navigate what can be a very stressful time in their lives.
Miranda is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in Personal Injury Law and by APIL (Association of Personal Injury Lawyers) as a Senior Litigator. Miranda is also a Notary Public.
