Previously, Lauren was a member of the medical negligence team and assisted on a number of clinical negligence matters, personal injury, road traffic accident cases and a fatal accident inquiry.
Lauren graduated with a First Class LLB (Hons) from the University of Aberdeen in 2014 and spent a year in France studying French Law in Lyon. In 2016, she graduated with a Human Rights Law LLM from the University of Edinburgh and in 2018 obtained her Diploma in Professional Legal Practice also from the University of Edinburgh. Lauren qualified as a solicitor in 2021.
Prior to joining the firm, Lauren did an internship with HM Inspectorate of Prisons for Scotland and whilst studying for the Diploma, she was an active member of the Operations Team at the Edinburgh University Free Legal Advice Centre.
