Katie is a Solicitor in the medical negligence department based in Edinburgh. She completed her traineeship with the firm and qualified as a solicitor in July 2025. She then spent a year practising with a leading global provider of integrated legal and business services before returning to Drummond Miller in August 2026.
Katie graduated from the University of Glasgow with an LLB (2021) and the Diploma in Legal Practice (2023). She also holds a Master's degree in Public Health (2022) from the University of Glasgow, and a BA (Hons) in Psychology (2019) from the University of Strathclyde.
Katie worked in a variety of client-facing roles throughout her time at university, including at a Citizens Advice Bureau where she assisted clients on a wide range of legal issues. She has also worked as a legal assistant in the family law department of a Glasgow law practice.
She is a Gaelic speaker, having attended Gaelic-medium school. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family and friends (and her cats). She likes to keep active is a keen golfer.
