Lynn has a particular interest in assisting older clients and in advising on matters relating to individuals lacking the capacity to manage their own financial and welfare affairs. She has extensive experience with Guardianship applications and other applications under the Adults with Incapacity legislation. Lynn is also experienced in advising individuals and families on a broad range of Private Client matters including the creation of Wills and Powers of Attorney, the administration of executry estates, asset protection and Inheritance Tax planning. She combines technical expertise with a sympathetic, reassuring approach.
Lynn graduated from the University of Aberdeen with LLB (Hons), Dip LP. She was formerly a tutor on the private client course on the University of Glasgow’s Diploma in Legal Practice. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the global professional body for practitioners specialising in Private Client work. She is admitted as a Solicitor in Scotland and a registered Notary Public with the Foreign & Commonwealth Office.
