
She acts for individuals in a wide range of medical negligence cases, including complex birth damage claims and those arising from surgical errors and missed diagnoses. Lorna has particular experience in acting for families who have lost a loved one as a result of medical negligence and is recommended by the Legal 500 2023 edition for complex fatal claims.
Lorna litigates cases in both the Court of Session and the All-Scotland Sheriff Personal Injury Court. She understands that making a medical negligence claim can be a difficult process and clients appreciate her calm, patient and compassionate approach. She aims to provide clear and straightforward advice.

Lorna holds a certificate in Forensic Medicine and Science from the University of Edinburgh and has tutored on both the LLB (Delict) and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice (Personal Injuries elective) at the University of Edinburgh.
