James is a solicitor in the Private Client Team in our Glasgow Office.
James Joined Drummond Miller in October 2023 as a newly qualified solicitor, having completed his legal traineeship at a respected high street firm in Kilmarnock.
Prior to commencing his legal training, James completed his legal studies at the University of Strathclyde where he achieved both his Accelerated Scots and English LLB and the Diploma of Professional Legal Practice. James also completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business at the University of Strathclyde before pursuing a career in law.
As part of our private client team James can advise on all areas of the department, with particular experience in Wills, Powers of Attorney and Adults with Incapacity matters.
Outside of work, James is passionate about sport and in particular enjoys playing and watching both Football and Golf, as well as socializing with friends and family.
