Jennifer joined Drummond Miller’s Litigation team in Glasgow in 2017, having previously gained a First Class (Honours) law degree from the University of Glasgow, and trained at a well-known litigation firm.
Specialising in personal injury and clinical negligence cases, Jennifer’s experience is wide-ranging. It includes success on behalf of clients in the likes of actions for payment of debts, defence of counter-claims and actions for interdict.
Presently, Jennifer’s work is most focused on complex or unusual personal injury and clinical negligence cases; on pursuing long-awaited redress in claims arising from historic child and sexual abuse (following the Limitation (Childhood Abuse) (Scotland) Act 2017) and advising on Criminal Injuries Compensation applications and reviews.
She is also happy to undertake agency work on behalf of other solicitors/firms and is experienced appearing in Glasgow and Edinburgh Sheriff Courts, as well as Glasgow Immigration Tribunal, on this basis.
From the outset of her career, Jennifer has developed in-depth knowledge of all that is required to successfully pursue a case, whether in the Court of Session, All-Scotland Sheriff Personal Injury Court or local Sheriff Courts, and she works diligently to secure the best possible result in every case in which she is instructed.
Committed to assisting individuals in what are often extremely challenging, confusing and emotional times, Jennifer delivers practical advice in a clear, sensitive way. Where possible, she investigates and negotiates to secure results out of court. If court action (litigation) is required, she takes a proactive approach which is live to her clients’ priorities, and has consistently secured valuable results for her clients even in fiercely-defended cases.
Away from work, Jennifer enjoys travelling, music, running, and art.
