Craig Christie, Solicitor, joined Drummond Miller LLP’s Glasgow office in May 2018. He studied at the University of Aberdeen where he obtained his Honours and Masters Degree in Law.  He qualified in 2017 having trained solely in personal injury litigation with one of Scotland’s leading law firms in this field. He is a part of the litigation team with a focus on personal injury and clinical negligence claims.

He has handled and succeeded in a wide range of personal injury cases in the All-Scotland Personal Injury Court, several Sheriff Courts and the Court of Session including road traffic accidents; occupier’s liability; accidents at work; claims against public authorities; product liability and industrial disease claims. He also specialises in pursuing claims relating to historic child and sex abuse.

He also pursues a wide variety of complex and novel clinical negligence claims including claims against GPs, surgeons, nurses, care workers and dentists. He also has experience in pursuing professional negligence claims against solicitors and actions for interdict.

Craig is happy to undertake court agency work on behalf of other solicitors or firms. He has experience in attending numerous Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland to appear in various types of hearings.

Courteous, empathetic and approachable, he strives to achieve the best possible result for his clients in light of their needs.  He prides himself on providing clear, practical and accessible advice to his clients to ensure that they fully understand what is happening in their case.  With an interest in the academic side of the law, he is happy to investigate cases which raise complex and novel legal issues. He has succeeded in settling many cases where the likelihood of success was slim through his perseverance and persuasive reasoning.
