Our free Family Law drop-in clinics are designed to give you quick, direct access to an experienced solicitor—without needing to book in advance* or pay a fee. Whether you’re facing the breakdown of a relationship, making arrangements for your children, or simply not sure what your next step should be, we're here to listen and help.
Clinics are now available at our offices in Edinburgh, Dalkeith, Musselburgh, Bathgate, Glasgow and Bearsden, and at the Citizens Advice Bureau in Haddington. You'll find details of each location below. During your confidential, ten-minute meeting, one of our Family Law specialists will take the time to understand your situation and offer guidance on issues such as:

The Family Law Drop-in Clinic in Dalkeith takes place every second Wednesday, with upcoming sessions on the following dates dates: 7th October, 21st October and 4th November. The clinic runs from 4pm to 5pm, with last entry at 4:45pm. Please note the clinic on 15th July will not be running.
Musselburgh
The Family Law Drop-in Clinic in Musselburgh takes place on the first Tuesday of each month, with upcoming sessions on the following dates: 3rd November and 1st December. The clinic will run from 4pm to 5pm, with last entry at 4:45pm. Please note there is no clinic in October.
Edinburgh
The Family Law Drop-in Clinic in Edinburgh takes place every second Thursday, with upcoming sessions on the following dates: 15th October, 29th October and 12th November. The clinic will run from 4pm to 5pm, with last entry at 4:45pm.
Bathgate
The Family Law Drop-in Clinic in Bathgate takes place every second Wednesday, with upcoming sessions on the following dates: 7th October, 21st October and 4th November. The clinic will run from 4pm to 5pm, with last entry at 4:45pm.
Haddington
The Family Law Drop-in Clinic in Haddington takes place on the last Tuesday of each month at the Citizens Advice Bureau, with upcoming sessions on the following dates: 27th October and 24th November. The clinic will run from 4pm to 5pm, with last entry at 4:45pm. Please note: there will be no clinic held in December.
Bearsden
