Our free Family Law drop-in clinics are designed to give you quick, direct access to an experienced solicitor—without needing to book in advance* or pay a fee. Whether you’re facing the breakdown of a relationship, making arrangements for your children, or simply not sure what your next step should be, we're here to listen and help.
Clinics are now available at our offices in Edinburgh, Dalkeith, Musselburgh, Bathgate and Bearsden, and at the Citizens Advice Bureau in Haddington. You'll find details of each location below. During your confidential, ten-minute meeting, one of our Family Law specialists will take the time to understand your situation and offer guidance on issues such as:

The Family Law Drop-in Clinic in Dalkeith takes place every second Wednesday, with upcoming sessions on the following dates dates: 8th April, 22nd April and 6th May. The clinic runs from 4pm to 5pm, with last entry at 4:45pm.
Musselburgh
The Family Law Drop-in Clinic in Musselburgh takes place on the first Tuesday of each month, with upcoming sessions on the following dates: 5th May and 2nd June. The clinic will run from 4pm to 5pm, with last entry at 4:45pm. Note: there will be no clinic in March.
Edinburgh
The Family Law Drop-in Clinic in Edinburgh takes place every second Thursday, with upcoming sessions on the following dates: 16th April, 30th April and 14th May. The clinic will run from 4pm to 5pm, with last entry at 4:45pm.
Haddington
