Julie is a newly qualified solicitor working within the Clinical Negligence department in Glasgow, where she assists with a variety of clinical negligence and personal injury claims. Clinical negligence is an area of particular interest given her background as a nurse.
This is a career change for Julie, who has many years’ experience as a registered nurse, having trained and worked in Glasgow before moving to the USA and working there for 17 years before returning home.
She graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2019 with an accelerated Scots Law LLB, going on to complete the Diploma in Professional Practice at the University of Glasgow in 2020. Julie is confident that her medical knowledge and experience with challenging circumstances will benefit the client.
Away from the office Julie enjoys cycling, sailing, travelling and volunteering with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award as an expedition assessor.
