Lorna Hale becomes Drummond Miller's latest Accredited Medical Negligence Law Specialist

Lorna Hale has been accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in medical negligence law. She joined Drummond Miller in 2016 and since her arrival has worked very closely with Partners Liesa Spiller and Darren Deery (also accredited specialists in clinical negligence) to develop her expertise. She specialises almost exclusively in pursuing medical negligence claims for individuals, having experience in a very wide range of cases and in litigating in both the Court of Session and the All-Scotland Sheriff Personal Injury Court. She provides advice to individuals but also to other solicitors across Scotland due to her specialist knowledge.

Lorna obtained a certificate in Forensic Medicine and Science from the University of Edinburgh in 2018 giving her a more in-depth understanding of the complex scientific and medical issues arising in cases of this nature. She has tutored on both the LLB and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh.
