Staff from the firm’s Glasgow office recently took part in the Glasgow Kiltwalk 2023. The event provided a great opportunity to build our fitness, participate as a team, and raise money for a worthy cause.
The team raised a grand total of £1,850 for Homeless Project Scotland. The charity supports the homeless and vulnerable individuals and all donations help to provide a vast range of essential services and support to those who are experiencing homelessness, such as food, clothing and shelter.
The Glasgow office ran a number of fundraising events in the office in the lead up to the walk including a race night. While this got our fundraising page off to a good start, colleagues, friends and family were very generous in donating to our Just Giving page and meant we raised such a fantastic total of £1,850 for our chosen charity.
We set off for the Kiltwalk on Sunday 30th of April with some of us braving The Mighty Stride from Glasgow to Balloch which was approximately 22.6 miles. The remainder of the team took it slightly easier completing 14.5 miles in The Big Stroll, starting at Clydebank and finishing on the shores of Loch Lomond.
The weather may have not been the kindest with it raining for the majority of the walk, however, this did not stop both groups finishing the walk in high spirits.
