The role

In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the Private Client team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar position and thrive in a fast-paced working environment. You will demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Key responsibilities include:

·         Audio typing of letters, emails, attendance notes, and fee notes

·         Handling calls from clients and solicitors when the fee earner is unavailable

·         Appointment booking and diary management

·         Managing incoming mail, including scanning and distributing to the appropriate fee earner

·         Document management, including opening and closing files (physical and electronic), photocopying, scanning, faxing, and filing

·         Vault management

·         Basic drafting of deeds using provided styles

·         Preparing Power of Attorney registration forms in advance of client meetings where possible

·         Carrying out ad hoc, non-dictated typing tasks, including client correspondence following POA registration, responding to new client enquiries regarding Wills and POAs, and providing reception cover during absences and holidays
