Drummond Miller is seeking a Qualified Paralegal/ Solicitor (Executries) to join our expanding Private Client team in our Bearsden office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dealing with the administration of Trusts and Executries, both simple and complicated
  • Providing advice to clients on succession and tax planning
    Assisting in asset protection and Capital Gains Tax mitigation in relation to Trusts and Executries
  • Meeting with clients on a daily basis – face to face and via telephone
  • Drafting legal documents and all relevant correspondence in relation to Trusts and Executries
  • Keeping regular contact with clients by telephone, email and general correspondence
  • Management of own caseload; Proactively progressing transactions and obtaining information from external parties to ensure efficiency and excellent service delivery
  • Assisting other members of the team, working collaboratively to promote the environment of trust and support

About You

  • Qualified and Experienced Paralegal/Solicitor with a background in managing Executries and knowledge of Private Client
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise
  • Ability to use own initiative and seek guidance from supervisors when appropriate
  • Excellent client care skills and ability to manage client expectations
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Good IT skills, including use of excel
  • Strong and adaptable team player
