Katie is a trainee in the medical negligence department. She graduated from the University of Glasgow with an LLB (2021) and the Diploma in Legal Practice (2023). She also holds a Master's degree in Public Health (2022) from the University of Glasgow, and a BA (Hons) in Psychology (2019) from the University of Strathclyde.
Katie worked in a variety of client-facing roles throughout her time at university, including at a Citizens Advice Bureau where she assisted clients on a wide range of legal issues. She has also worked part-time as a legal assistant in the family law department of a Glasgow law practice.
She is a Gaelic speaker, having attended Gaelic-medium school. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family and friends (and her cats). She likes to keep active and has recently taken up golf.
