We have a rich history of working closely with individuals and their families. Our areas of expertise span niche fields such as medical negligence and immigration law, as well as the foundational areas of family law, property, private client, and litigation.
Our medical negligence team is highly rated on the pursuer side, with more accredited experts than any other Scottish practice. And our immigration team are by far the most experienced group of immigration practitioners in the UK.
Our firm has a long-standing reputation for excellence, and we are committed to providing a first-class service to our clients by understanding their needs and delivering common sense legal advice and practical solutions to their requirements.
But beyond all these, we genuinely care. We're committed to understanding your needs, making the legal process transparent, and ensuring you trust our journey together. After all, our mantra is, "We're here to get you there." And we truly believe in it.
Our History
Drummond Miller's origins date back to the eighteenth century. The current firm is the result of a union in 1991 between Drummond & Co., W.S. and Pairman Miller & Murray, each long-standing established firms in their own right. Both firms shared a similar ethos and client base, and the successful merger enabled the business to flourish. Both firms were involved in cases that are still regarded as landmarks in Scottish legal history.
In April 2000, the firms of MacPhail & Co and L & L Lawrence merged with Drummond Miller LLP to establish our Glasgow office. In 2020, we took over the long-established Musselburgh practice of Alex Mitchell & Sons, which can trace its history back for 130 years. Then, in June 2022, Drummond Miller LLP merged with the long-established Glasgow firm of Peacock Johnston.
Drummond Miller LLP now employs over 100 staff across a network of offices throughout Central Scotland.
