Lyndsay spent the first year of her traineeship in the Litigation department, where she assisted the team in achieving successful outcomes for clients with pre-litigated and litigated claims. Lyndsay enjoys the client-centred aspects of her and is committed to achieving satisfactory results for her clients.
Prior to joining the firm, Lyndsay was employed as a paralegal focusing primarily on personal injury claims. She has also gained experience in public inquiry work. During her university studies, Lyndsay sought numerous volunteer opportunities to utilise and improve upon her knowledge of the Scottish legal system, working with key organisations such as: Citizens Advice Scotland; the University of Strathclyde Law Clinic; and the Scottish Women’s Rights Centre. Lyndsay found this work to be incredibly rewarding in empowering service users by way of advising them of their legal rights and responsibilities and assisting them with navigating the legal process. She hopes to carry these positive experiences of helping others forward during her traineeship.
In her spare time, Lyndsay enjoys staying active and seizing new opportunities to visit more of Scotland and beyond.
