An exciting new opportunity for an Associate (3 years + PQE) to be based within our well respected and experienced Family Department.
Working in one of Scotland’s most recognised and leading practices in this area the successful candidate will have exposure to a wide range of cases including separation, divorce, residence and contact disputes as well as high value and complex Court of Session actions, including international child abduction and appeals. It is essential that the right candidate will have experience in financial provision on divorce and child law and it is desirable that the right candidate has experience in the of the Court of Session.
The role requires a strong team player who is confident, empathetic, and has excellent communication and client care skills. You will demonstrate an excellent academic record, be well organised, able to prioritise and work under pressure and to demanding deadlines and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail. You will be able to work both independently and also assist other members of the team in complex cases. Commercial awareness and business development experience is essential for this role.
