Alan obtained his LLB from Strathclyde University before attending Glasgow Graduate School of Law where he obtained his Diploma in Legal Practice.

Alan's traineeship was undertaken in Edinburgh before joining Drummond Miller's Glasgow office as a Solicitor in 2009.

Alan is responsible for a wide ranging Sheriff Court practice and has considerable experience in the field of Personal Injury.

He appears regularly at Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland and, in addition to undertaking instructions from a wide range of individual clients and other solicitors, Alan also acts on behalf of a major Trade Union.
