Darren graduated from Edinburgh University LLB (Hons) in 2006 and obtained his Diploma in Legal Practice the following year.

He qualified as a solicitor in 2009 having completed his two year traineeship at Drummond Miller LLP. Throughout his traineeship he gained experience in both the Court of Session and Sheriff Court Departments. He is employed as an Associate in the Court of Session Department at our Edinburgh office.

He receives instructions from both individual clients and other solicitors from across Scotland. His practice includes personal injury and commercial actions; however, his primary practice is in the highly specialised field of clinical negligence. He has experience in a wide range of clinical negligence actions and has a particular interest in birth damage cases having settled a number of complex/high value cases in recent years.
