Liesa graduated from Edinburgh University LLB and Diploma in Legal Practice in 1988

She commenced her traineeship with Drummond & Co (now Drummond Miller) in 1988 and became a partner in 1996.

Liesa is a partner in the Litigation Department specialising in Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury. Liesa Spiller is recognised as one of the leading clinical negligence practitioners in Scotland. Liesa acts exclusively on behalf of pursuers and is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a clinical negligence specialist.

Liesa is a member of and a Senior Litigator with APIL, a member of the Law Society Panel for Specialist Accreditation in Clinical Negligence and an external reporter for SLAB.
